Welcome to GreenCleanEx! GreenCleanEx reserves the right to make amendments to these conditions without prior notice. To use GreenCleanEx services, everyone involved must agree to the terms and conditions.
Office Hours:
We are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. After office hours and on weekends, you can leave a voicemail, or send us an email, or text us then we will respond on the next business day.
By visiting this website, you agree to these terms and conditions.
No term or contract:
There is no fixed term for the agreement between the client and GreenCleanEx. You may cancel your recurring or one-time cleaning service up to 2 business days prior to the scheduled booking time. GreenCleanEx also reserves the right to cancel the service provided without notice.
Bonded and insured:
We strive to provide the most professional cleaning services. All our professionals are bonded and insured.
Teams:
Our cleaning staff works in teams of two or more, depending on the size of the job. We assign a team leader to your home or workplace. While we try to maintain the same team leader for your home or workplace, we cannot guarantee it. Circumstances such as illness, promotions, vacations, etc. may cause a change of team or cleaners.
Conduct:
Our cleaning staff will maintain a respectful demeanor while in your home or workplace. They will not smoke, eat, or drink, nor will they watch TV or use iPhones. They will not answer the telephone or doorbell. Their sole purpose while in your home or workplace is to provide cleaning services.
Your home or workplace
Equipment and Supplies:
We bring our own cleaning equipment and supplies, like vacuums, mops, and cleaning products. If you have specific products you would like us to use, please inform us beforehand.
Arrival time:
Scheduled cleanings are to minimize driving time for each team. As a result, the exact time of your cleaning may vary on each occasion. While we will try to accommodate your request for a morning or afternoon schedule, please note that specific times will not be guaranteed.
Keys:
Please make sure your home or workplace is accessible to us. Keys should be put in a lock box near the entrance door.
Security alarms:
For homes or workplaces with security systems, kindly turn off the alarm or provide us with the codes before cleaning. Kindly inform us if there's any change in the code.
Clutter:
GreenCleanEx doesn't guarantee excessive clutter in a living house or workplace that can be cleaned properly. If a desk has a significant amount of paperwork on it, it may not receive proper cleaning.
Pets and plants:
If you have pets, our cleaners appreciate it when you secure them and pick them up. We do not clean litter boxes or urine or feces from the floor. We do not water plants or maintain them.
Pets escaping from the home:
We cannot assume responsibility for any pets that may "escape" while our cleaning staff is entering or exiting your home. If your pet will roam freely during the cleaning, please inform us in advance so that our cleaning staff can be extra cautious when opening doors. Upon entering and exiting your home, we train our cleaners to close doors as soon as they enter and exit your home and will not leave doors open for long periods.
Extra Work:
To accommodate special requests, please contact us ahead of time so we can allocate enough time for the tasks. We will provide an email or over-the-phone estimate; however, we reserve the right to adjust the quote after we complete the job.
Items we cannot clean/do:
Our staff has been instructed not to touch certain items, like those with fluids or secretions, and litter boxes. If your pet has an accident or vomits, it will be your responsibility to clean it up. We advise our teams to clean around these areas. Seasonal insect infestations can also be a problem and may prevent us from completely cleaning your home or workplace. If our teams encounter ants, termites, roaches, fleas, etc., we will not clean. We will leave you a note or call you regarding the problem. We do not clean inside curio cabinets. If there are any specific items you would prefer we didn't clean or handle, please give us a call, and we will make the necessary arrangements. Our staff has limitations such as not being able to climb high, work outside, move electronics-containing furniture, lift heavy objects, cook meals, take care of pets or children, or empty diaper pails.
Carpet Cleaning:
GreenCleanEx staff will make reasonable efforts to clean the carpets to the best of its ability using industry-standard practices and equipment, but we do not guarantee the complete removal of all stains, odors, or damages caused by previous negligence or wear and tear. Our customer acknowledges that certain stains or damages may be permanent and cannot be removed through the carpet cleaning process.
Oven Cleaning:
GreenCleanEx accepts no responsibility for any general wear and tear that may occur with our customer's oven. Our customer acknowledges that the condition of the oven may affect the effectiveness of the cleaning process. We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage or issues with the oven. The customer also understands that our cleaning staff will exercise reasonable care and caution while cleaning the oven. However, we are not liable for any damages that may occur during the cleaning process, unless it is due to the cleaning staff’s negligence.
Cleaning Toilets, Bathtubs, and Sinks:
GreenCleanEx is dedicated to delivering exceptional cleaning services for toilets, bathtubs, and sinks. Our skilled team will ensure a thorough and sanitary cleaning of these areas. Please note that GreenCleanEx cannot be held liable for any damages resulting from clogged toilets, bathtubs, or sinks. We kindly request clients to notify us of any existing issues with their toilets, bathtubs, or sinks prior to the commencement of the cleaning service. Any additional repairs or unclogging required during the cleaning process will be the sole responsibility of the client.
In our commitment to excellence, GreenCleanEx strives to provide top-notch cleaning services. To achieve this, clients are kindly asked to provide access to warm water throughout the cleaning process. In the event that warm water is not available, GreenCleanEx reserves the right to decline service, as it may hinder our ability to perform the cleaning job efficiently and effectively.
Cleaning Surfaces:
Cleaning surfaces such as floors, bathtubs, walls, mirrors, countertops, cabinets, fridges, ovens, tables, and other agreed-upon areas. The specific tasks to be performed will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the cleaning service.
- Cleaning Products: GreenCleanEx will use environmentally-friendly cleaning products and methods whenever possible. In cases where specialized or specific cleaning products are required, the client may be responsible for providing them.
- Client Responsibilities: The client must inform GreenCleanEx of any delicate or fragile items that require special care during the cleaning process.
- Limitations and Exclusions:
a. GreenCleanEx will not be responsible for any damages caused by pre-existing conditions or faulty surfaces.
b. GreenCleanEx will not be responsible for the removal of stubborn stains or deep-seated dirt that cannot be removed with regular cleaning methods.
Quality Control:
Our quality control includes home or workplace inspections and phone calls. A supervisor may enter your home or workplace after our cleaning team has done their job. They may call you at home or work. We believe that inspections and client contact are the best ways to exceed your expectations and improve our high standards. You may also fill out a satisfaction survey. We appreciate your feedback.
Accidents and theft:
The client is responsible for securing cash, jewelry, and any other valuable items. If you have valuables, it would be helpful if they were put away to avoid accidents. Regrettable and, although not common, from time to time, something may be broken. Our cleaning staff are instructed to call the team leader at once if anything is broken and to leave you a note advising you of the accident. In the event an item is damaged or broken, we reserve the option to repair or replace the item if it was caused by our team. You must report this incident within 24 hours of service. The client must be present at the end of the cleaning. And must inspect the home or workplace before the cleaner’s departure. Any damage should be brought to our attention right away. Once the cleaning staff leave, we are no longer liable for any damage that may occur.
If a client suspects theft or actual theft has taken place, it is the client’s responsibility to report the incident to GreenCleanEx. The client will lay a charge of theft if actual theft has taken place and follow through to the point of actual prosecution. GreenCleanEx is indemnified against any claim.
Hiring of GreenCleanEx Team:
Our team members are bound by a non-compete agreement with GreenCleanEx. They are prohibited from soliciting business from any client on his or her own behalf or on behalf of any third party during their contract with GreenCleanEx or for 2 years following the termination of the contract, without written approval from GreenCleanEx. You agree not to hire past or present teams of GreenCleanEx for a period of not less than 2 years from the date the team member last worked for GreenCleanEx. A great deal of time and resources are put into picking out the best team members. Hiring a GreenCleanEx team member under this agreement requires an immediate $3,000 placement fee upon their employment.
Scheduling
Changes:
Changing your scheduled cleanings can cause price changes.
The price for your recurring service is determined by the time between cleanings. We have four price categories for recurring cleanings:

Daily (every day)

Weekly (once a week)

Bi-weekly (every two weeks)

Monthly (every four weeks)
Rescheduling your cleaning may cause the cost of your service to be less than, more than, or the same as your last cleaning. Please note that time will be considered for vacations when the home is not occupied.
For example:

If you are a bi-weekly client and you "skip" a cleaning, creating a four-week interval between visits, the applicable (higher) monthly rate will apply to the next cleaning.

If you are a bi-weekly client and you request an additional cleaning in between scheduled visits, you will be charged the applicable (lower) weekly rate for the next two cleanings, as there will be a one-week interval between both cleanings.

Regular cleaning will be offered on all other holidays. Should your regular cleaning fall on these days, we will contact you approximately 2 weeks prior to the holiday to reschedule your cleaning. If you wish to reschedule a cleaning that falls on another holiday throughout the year, please call us at least 2 business days in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee.
Notifying us of changes:
We kindly request that you give us at least 2 business days' notice if you need to change, cancel, or skip your regular cleaning day to avoid any charges. Without prior notification, a lock-out fee will be charged at full price to cover our expenses. Our team's daily earnings are determined by the number of homes or cleaning sites scheduled. Our team's pay and spot are affected when you skip or lock us out on short notice without giving us time to fill it. It can also lead to scheduling conflicts with our other clients. Just let us know through email or phone call if you need to change the cleaning instructions or schedule.
Charges
Payment Policy Terms and Conditions:
Payment is required in full at the time of scheduling, whether online or over the phone. We accept payment through credit cards, specifically Mastercard or Visa. Please be aware that, due to the individualized and subjective nature of our cleaning services, we are unable to provide refunds. GreenCleanEx also reserves the right to reschedule a booking if our staff is unavailable. However, if you are dissatisfied with our cleaning job, we are more than happy to return and re-clean any areas free of charge within 24 hours, as part of our commitment to ensuring 100% satisfaction.
Tips:
Tips are appreciated by your cleaning team but are not mandatory. A recommended tip is 10-15% of your total cleaning fee. Tips can be left as cash (not in an envelope) for the cleaning team.
Cancellations:
GreenCleanEx reserves the right to suspend or cancel a booking if there are problems with access, water, or electricity supplies, or problems working with other contractors and/or service providers, as well as interference from any party. The client will still be held liable for the full cost of the agreed-upon service.
Late cancellation:
To avoid a late cancellation fee of $50.00, notify us of any changes at least 2 business days before the scheduled service date by emailing or calling us. Informing the cleaning team while they are at your home or cleaning site is not considered a valid notification.
Cleaning fee increases:
GreenCleanEx reserves the right to reevaluate rates based on the time required to perform our service to meet the client's standards. We will monitor the actual cleaning time for the first two months and occasionally thereafter. If the cleaning time differs significantly from the original price, we will contact you to discuss possible price or service revisions. We also reserve the right to adjust the estimate after we complete the job.
Variation in Cleaning Estimate and Actual Cleaning Time:
The cleaning estimate provided by GreenCleanEx is an approximation and may not reflect the actual cleaning time required. The actual time needed to complete the cleaning services may vary based on factors such as the size and condition of the property, the complexity of the cleaning tasks, and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the cleaning process. Therefore, GreenCleanEx cannot guarantee the accuracy of the initial cleaning estimate provided. We strive to provide the most accurate estimate possible, but please note that the final cleaning time and cost may differ from the initial estimate.
Allergy Clause
1. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform GreenCleanEx of any allergies, sensitivities, or specific requirements related to cleaning products or substances prior to the commencement of the cleaning service.
2. GreenCleanEx will make reasonable efforts to accommodate customers with known allergies or sensitivities. However, it is important to note that GreenCleanEx cannot guarantee allergen-free environments due to factors beyond their control, such as customer-owned items or airborne allergens.
3. GreenCleanEx will exercise care in selecting and using cleaning products that are less likely to trigger allergies or sensitivities. However, customers understand and acknowledge that some cleaning products may still contain ingredients that could potentially cause allergic reactions.
4. Customers with known allergies or sensitivities are advised to provide their own alternative cleaning products, if necessary, and to ensure that any instructions for their use are clearly communicated to GreenCleanEx in writing.
5. GreenCleanEx shall not be held liable for any allergic reactions, adverse effects, or damages caused by undisclosed allergies or failure to follow instructions regarding allergen precautions.
6. By engaging GreenCleanEx's services, customers agree to indemnify and hold GreenCleanEx harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from allergic reactions or adverse effects caused by undisclosed allergies or failure to follow instructions regarding allergen precautions.
7. Customers are advised to consult with a medical professional if they have concerns about potential allergens or sensitivities before using GreenCleanEx's services.
By accepting these terms and conditions, customers acknowledge that they have read and understood the allergy clause and agree to comply with its provisions.
